iRacing - MX5 Cup

Welcome to RCIs Mazda MX5 Cup! Going to some of the best base content tracks as well as Daytona International Speedway for some very unique racing.

CALENDAR

We will use the following tracks and layouts:

• Circuito De Navarra - Medium Layout
• Snetterton - 200 Layout
• Daytona International Speedway - Road Course
• Oulton Park - Without Hislops Chicane
• Laguna seca - Full Course

Please note that Daytona International Speedway is additional paid content, all other tracks and the car are included in the base subscription to make this championship open and accessible to anyone and everyone!

RACE FORMAT

Please note this will be using fixed setups provided by iRacing.

For each race weekend there will be a 45 minute practice session, a 15 minute open qualifying session with unlimited laps, and 2 x 30 minute races. The grid for race 2 will be reverse grid from the finishing positions of race 1.

We will be using the iRacing penalty system with 17x required for the first penalty, then an additional 8x required for each following penalty. There will be no DQ limit of incident points. Additionally incidents should be reported through the post race stewarding system

This season will be fully broadcast on the RCI TV YouTube channel so be sure to follow along.
